Music Springing Up All Over Third Thursdays!

There is a unique kind of magic that happens when live music spills out into the evening air. This summer Downtown Foley  has been transforming  into an open-air stage as Foley Main Street ramps up the rhythm for our Third Thursday events. Throughout May, June, and July, visitors were greeted with  local performers stationed throughout the district to provide the perfect backdrop for an evening stroll- even in the rain! We have two more months to go!

Walking through downtown during these months has been an experience for the senses. As you move from block to block, the sounds of acoustic guitars, soulful vocals, and upbeat melodies follow you, turning a simple walk into a community celebration. Whether you’re popping into a local boutique, grabbing a drink, or admiring a new mural, the music creates an inviting "community living room" atmosphere where everyone is welcome to linger and enjoy the vibe.

The musical momentum continues on a high note on August 20th for our special "Arrrgust" Third Thursday. This pirate-themed celebration combines the whimsy of the high seas with a dose of live performances. It’s a night where you can hear local favorites, all while exploring the historic heart of our city.

Don’t miss the chance to experience Downtown Foley at its most melodic. Grab your friends, explore our shops, and let the music lead the way through May, June, July, our swashbuckling Arrrgust 20 Third Thursday and “Too Cool For School”  September 17th Third Thursday.
