Last Updated 6/6/2025

Are you sure that your listings are the best they can be?

Foley Main Street announces that registration is now open for the Google My Business Mini Workshop, designed to enhance online visibility and business growth. Thanks to a generous grant from Regions Bank, this workshop is free for downtown businesses, while others can attend for just $50.

The workshop aims to help businesses learn to be found and grow on Google, with bonus tips for Bing and more! Participants will be guided through claiming and optimizing their Google Business profiles, managing listings, adding administrators, and ensuring accurate business details. The session will also cover the importance of photos, branding basics, and SEO strategies.

Two sessions are available: Tuesday, June 24, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., with dinner provided, or Wednesday, June 25, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., with lunch provided. Each session includes a 30-minute iPhone photography crash course.

Hosted at Riviera Utilities, Foley (2nd floor conference room), 413 East Laurel Ave, Foley, AL 36535, the workshop requires advance registration, limited to two representatives per business. Bringing a phone and laptop is recommended. Register at https://bit.ly/EyesOnDowntownWorkshop.
