Google My Business Mini Workshop Was A Big Success

Foley, Al (June 27,2025) -  The Foley Main Street Google My Business Mini Workshop was designed to enhance online visibility and business growth. Thanks to a generous grant from Regions Bank, this Foley Main Street Community  Foundation workshop was held at Riviera Utilities and free for Downtown Foley businesses. Led by Lindsay Schumacher, a marketing specialist and digital expert from L. Schumacher Consulting, this workshop was part of Foley Main Street's commitment to enhancing the strength of Downtown Foley's businesses. This and other educational workshops are part of the Foley Main Street economic development mission.

This interactive session covered how to optimize a business's presence on Google, with bonus insights for other platforms like Bing and Apple maps. Attendees choose between two sessions.  A 30-minute iPhone photography crash course followed each session.

This initiative was part of the "Eyes On Downtown" Community Initiative, made possible through the generous grant from Regions Bank.
