“Ready. Set. Shine! Supercharge Your Business’s Online Presence,” an interactive workshop
FOLEY, Ala. — Foley Main Street will host “Ready. Set. Shine! Supercharge Your Business’s Online Presence,” an interactive workshop for business owners and individuals looking to help customers find their businesses online.
The workshop will take place Tuesday, Oct. 20, in the second-floor conference room at Riviera Utilities, 413 East Laurel Ave. in Foley. A light dinner will be served at 5 p.m., followed by the workshop from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Led by Lindsay Schumacher of L. Schumacher Consulting, the workshop will focus on practical ways to strengthen a Google Business Profile, including business information, products and services, photos, customer reviews and website links. Participants will also explore other popular search and navigation platforms and learn why accurate, consistent information matters wherever customers find them.
Easy-to-follow demonstrations, local examples and a guided “Would You Find You?” search will help participants identify opportunities for their own businesses. The workshop is designed for both first-time attendees and those returning for a refresher, with current features and tips they may have overlooked.
Each participant will receive a checklist and a simple maintenance guide. Attendees are encouraged to bring a phone or laptop to follow along.
The workshop is free for Foley Main Street members and supporters and $25 for all other businesses and individuals. Register at
